Exhibitions, experts and a discovery!
A Weekend with PaperShoot and Analogue Wonderland
This past weekend, I had the privilege of representing PaperShoot for Analogue Wonderland at The Photography Show. It was an inspiring experience, filled with passionate conversations, hands-on demonstrations, and a newfound appreciation for the art of capturing moments

Film Photography: A Community of Experts and Enthusiasts
One of the highlights of the event for me, was working alongside some incredibly knowledgeable experts in film photography. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and I found myself drawn into the conversations by their dedication and passion. In a world dominated by high-resolution digital cameras and smartphone photography, their passion for film educated (and reminded) me of the true essence of photography—being present in the moment and capturing that moment as a memento of great times.

Introducing the PaperShoot Camera: A Digital Camera with an Analogue Attitude
A major focus of the weekend was showcasing the PaperShoot camera, a device that blends digital convenience with an analogue mindset. This innovative camera consists of a simple, high-quality camera card that can be housed in different cases—or, if you’re feeling creative, you can 3D print your own! (James Coulter, you need to see this!).

What makes the PaperShoot special is its emphasis on capturing the moment without distracting from it. It doesn't have a screen and unlike a smartphone, where the urge to review and edit photos instantly can pull you out of an experience, the PaperShoot captures a moment without taking you out of the moment.
A Newfound Appreciation for Photography
Interestingly, using the PaperShoot has kindled a love for photography. Sure, my iPhone may have a better lens, but with over 9,000 images sitting in my camera roll, I can’t even remember the last time I scrolled back to photo #3,465! The PaperShoot brings a sense of simplicity and intentionality back into photography—reminding me that the best moments are the ones we truly experience. I have been bitten by the photography bug and I am looking forward to the adventure ahead!

This weekend was meant to be about an exhibition and selling cameras! It ended up being so much more. Seeing experts in action, talking with enthusiasts and getting bitten by the bug of photography. At the end of the weekend, I was exhausted and the after event come down was greater than I expected!
It was so much fun - and thank you to Analogue Wonderland the whole team for making it so.
